The Listening Booth Claimed

The Listening Booth is owned and operated by Marissa Levy Lerer, a seasoned executive, technologist, marketing expert and singer/songwriter. She has over two decades working in the tech and digital marketing world as a graphic designer, programer and executive. As a songwriter, Marissa has toured all over the country and abroad, releasing 3 albums. Her music has been heard on television shows and movies and she has shared the stage with musicians such as Lisa Loeb, Matt Nathanson and Gavin Degraw. Marissa moved to Southern Delaware from Brooklyn and she noticed a large gap in the original music scene when trying to book gigs for herself in Lewes and Rehoboth. She was met with resistance from the “cover only” music scene. Marissa is passionate about creating a musical home not just for the people of Southern Delaware but for herself and other musicians as well. ​ Marissa met Holly in 1999 when they were at NYU together. The two were fast friends, often making music together. Since then, their love for music has grown as well as their curiosity about entrepreneurship.
