The Delaware Beach Area has no shortage of amazing restaurant options for you to plan the perfect intimate and romantic night out. With Valentine's Day being right around the corner, and so many internet reviews, lists and national websites dictating the Top Romantic Restaurants, we decided to go straight to the best source...The Locals...and ask them where they would take their date for the perfect evening. 

Imagine a perfect dinner under twinkling lights at Eden, a fine dining restaurant nestled on beautiful Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. The chefs create innovative food, the bartenders craft original cocktails and the servers deliver impeccable service. Eden's romantic atmosphere is complimented with an Award Winning Wine List. 

Take in the view! You can have dinner overlooking the beautiful Salt Pond, with great water views from the dining room and the back deck, at Bluecoast in Bethany.  The food here is exemplary. Dine on fresh fish, including tuna, rock fish in season, salmon, halibut, mahi mahi and seafood favorites like shrimp, crab, scallops and clams. They also always have steak on the menu. 

Ohh la la! La Fable Restaurant in downtown Rehoboth Beach is as romantic as it gets, and not just because French is the language of love. Sip wine and dine on authentic French cuisine in an intimate space reminiscent of a French restaurant in Paris or NYC. La Fable was also featured as one of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, according to OpenTable.com

Eat, drink & glow (dine by candlelight) in a cozy dining room at Kindle Restaurant in downtown Lewes, DE. The menu highlights seasonal American fare, with a tad bit of French influence. We highly recommend the Red Pear Martini! 

Victoria's Restaurant in the iconic and beautiful Boardwalk Plaza Hotel offers fine dining overlooking the beach and boardwalk. You will be absolutely smitten with it's Victorian panache. Cozy up and enhance your experience with an afternoon tea.

It's welcoming, elegant and historical. Snuggle up in The Counting House in Georgetown on The Circle. Chef Bill Clifton, as featured on  Food Network's Beat Bobby Flay , is sensational. He uses locally-sourced ingredients, bringing sustainability to your table. After dinner, we recommend heading to the roof-top for a romantic evening. Grab a drink and to listen to some local music.

Low lighting, lit candles, modern decor, rare sake and amazing sushi. Need we say more? Stingray Sushi Bar and Asian Grill in Rehoboth Beach is a romantic must.  Do not pass up the opportunity to indulge in their pork belly and/or duck confit fried rice. 

Go on a "Delaware beach picnic" together at Salt Air Kitchen in downtown Rehoboth Beach. This is a food experience, offering farm to table fresh cuisine in an upscale atmosphere. Their menu is locally inspired featuring fresh seasonal produce, sustainable seafood, organic meats and poultry. Visit their fun, cozy bar, and sample creative libations, great wines and micro brews on tap. 

"True love is rare...like an amazing steak." Fall in love all over again at the award-winning Bonz Restaurant, located inside the Harrington Raceway & Casino. They have a relationship with steak like no other. Menu favorites include the bone-in rib-eye and fork-tender filets.

If you want to impress your date, take them Lupo Italian Kitchen, where the pasta is fresh and homemade. It's located in the elegant Hotel Rehoboth in Downtown Rehoboth Beach.  They serve both traditional and not so traditional coastal Italian cuisine, pairing mediterranean flavors with locally caught seafood and local produce. Lupo is also the winner of the 2019 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

It's a charming restaurant in a renovated Victorian white house. Heirloom, located in Lewes, is very well known for their incredible attention to detail - unique flavors, picture perfect plate presentation and knowledgable servers. Smaller dining areas provide for intimate dining experiences. 

Calling all lovers..."steak-lovers" that is. 1776 is a long-time community favorite serving mouthwatering premium steaks and quality seafood. It's the classic "go-to" spot for date nights in Rehoboth. There is so much to love about the Americana decor. We're gushing over the lobster-filled black ravioli topped with diced shrimp, crabmeat, tomatoes and basil in a cream sherry sauce.

It's no surprise that 99 Sea Level is on this list of romantic dining spots because the food, and perfectly paired seasonal wine list, is as spectacular as the gorgeous oceanfront view. Locals and vacationers flock here for their unique culinary style which features fine ingredients from local fisheries, farms and orchards.

Known for their quality and innovation, Sedona has been serving up fine American dining in Bethany Beach for over 28 years. Their creative cuisine is prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients and all desserts are made in house.  There is also a tapas menu, which is perfect for sharing.
