Dolles Candy Sign

511 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

Dolles has been an iconic spot in downtown Rehoboth forever; like we are talking since the 1800s! If you visited Rehoboth in the past, their big red sign was handing high above the boardwalk. A few years ago, there was a change in location for Dolles, leading to the sign being taken down. It was an emotional topic in the area, but thankfully, the sign is still easy to find! As you enter into town and cross over the bridge, the Dolles Sign is on the side of the Rehoboth History Museum

Lewes Lighthouses

Lewes, DE

In nearby Lewes, there are two photogenic lighthouses (Harbor Refuge Lighthouse and Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse) you have to check out. They are both able to be seen by Cape Henlopen State Park and one can be seen from Savannah Beach or when catching a music experience by the Cape May Lewes Ferry at Rocking the Docks. At certain times of year, visiting The Point at Cape Henlopen State Park lets you see both at the same time (The Point is closed beginning of March-beginning of September).

The Towers

Throughout coastal Southern Delaware, there are 57-foot-tall overlook towers. They are from WWII to provide outlook points on the U.S. coast. There are accessible towers within Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes and Delaware Seashore State Park just south of Dewey Beach.
