Schellville kicks off on November 20th! A free enchanted winter celebration!
OUR MONTHLY GUIDE TO EVENTS IN AND AROUND DELAWARE'S BEACH TOWNS.
While not everyone may be ready to swap out their toes in the sand for crunchy leaves under their boots, the fall season has arrived, and with it comes a whole slew of fun like apple picking, backyard bonfires, and pumpkin spiced treats. Keep reading below to see the unique and interesting events planned for the month of November, there’s something in store for everyone!
1. Skate the Cape Shred Festival 8
When: Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 7 | 5 p.m.
Where: Cape Henlopen State Park
Skate the Cape is a shred festival, combining longboard skateboard competitions with live music concerts and camping at the beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park. There will be five different skate events including downhill racing and freestyle, as well as live music Friday and Saturday night.
2. 37th Annual Holiday Fair Fine Craft Show
When: Saturday, November 6 to Sunday, November 7 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Rehoboth Art League | 12 Dodds Ln, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
The 37th Annual Holiday Fair Fine Craft Show will feature a variety of artisans exhibiting and selling their work, including jewelry, glasswork, ceramics, mixed media, and decorative and wearable fiber creations. Patrons can stroll the campus and find artists throughout the historic Homestead, Chambers Studio, and the Corkran and Tubbs galleries to select the perfect gifts for family, friends and themselves.
When: Sunday, November 7 | 12 to 2:30 p.m.

Recently Engaged? Connect with THE BEST vendors in a gorgeous setting, explore food samples from local caterers and wedding cake samples, see current bridal fashion trends, along with many wedding ideas and trends. There will be a cash bar and chances to win door prizes!
When: Monday, November 8 | 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Rehoboth Ale House on the Mile | 20859 Coastal Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, DE
Attendees can sip and eat while they paint the logo of their favorite sports team on either canvas or glassware at Rehoboth Ale House on The Mile in Rehoboth, DE! No artistic ability or experience required - anyone can do it. Each canvas/pair of glasses will be pre-sketched! Painters can choose the team logo and painting surface at checkout. Pre-registration is required. Come thirsty and hungry! Food and beverages can be purchased from the venue.

YOUTH Up invites all kids ages 10 to 18 to join them for a FREE bowling and pizza event at Lefty’s Alley & Eats. Children looking for something fun and new to try can come with a group and make a team, or fly solo and meet new friends! RSVP is required to attend.

Where: South Costal Library | 43 Kent Ave, Bethany Beach, DE
Save and give new life to those old books! Join staff member Claire for a fun and easy upcycling craft. Repurpose worn discarded library books into stylish book centerpieces in this free hands-on class, or bring a set of old books collecting dust around the house. All materials are provided for this fun craft for all ages.
7. Frozen Jr.
When: Friday, November 12 to Sunday, November 14 | 7 p.m.
Where: Clear Space Theater Company | 20 Baltimore Ave. Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
Kids will love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the top-grossing animated film of all time! Join Anna, Elsa, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as "Love Is an Open Door," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?," and "Let It Go," as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. With its empowering message of love and understanding, Frozen JR. is sure to melt hearts!
When: Tuesday, November 16 | 3 to 4 p.m.

Join American classical guitarist, Peter Fletcher, for a solo concert featuring Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and Lute Suite No. 1, Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Tarrega, Rumores de la Caleta by Albeniz and music by Scarlatti, Ponce and Tansman. The first 20 participants will be guaranteed a seat in the audience if they wish and will be called to confirm. Subsequent registrants will be able to watch the program via Zoom.
9. Paint Nite
When: Wednesday, November 17 | 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Revelation Craft Brewing | 19841 Central St. Rehoboth, DE 19971
Create a new kind of night out and join local residents for an Original Paint Nite party. In under two hours go from blank canvas to completed masterpiece, all while having some laughs with friends-- and maybe some drinks and some tunes too! No experience necessary, as talented local artist Karren Ryan will walk painters through all the steps. Just come on down to Revelation Craft Brewing in Rehoboth and bring your creative side, they'll take care of the rest.
10. The Delmarva Ramblers Bluegrass Band
When: Saturday, November 20 | 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Groome Church Lewes | 601 Savannah Rd, Lewes, DE 19958
The longest running Bluegrass Band in Delaware, continues with John Beaucham on banjo, Watha Hostetler on Mandolin/Vocals, Lorraine Messitt on Bass/Vocals, Barbara O'Day on guitar/Vocals, and introducing Sherrie Johnson on Guitar/Vocals. 4-part female harmonies (and an occasional yodel) makes this a new experience for the Ramblers, and the audience. Make your way to the church and enjoy an evening of Traditional Bluegrass (and a few Gospel numbers).
11. Schellville - Enchanted Winter Celebration: Opening Day
When: Saturday, November 20 | 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: Behind Tanger Outlets Seaside | Seaside Outlet Drive, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
Schellville is guaranteed to be filled with holiday magic, goodwill, and fun for the entire family. And the best part, most of the activities are completely FREE! Schellville is no longer just a "village lane," but instead, families can enjoy an Enchanted Winter Celebration, providing hours of fun and entertainment for kids of all ages.
12. Rehoboth / Dewey Oyster Fest
When: Saturday, November 20 | 11 a.m.
Where: 1 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE
Here we go. Oyster fest 2021. Enjoy awesome oyster creations, cold beverages and good times with friends at the beach. Get ready for the perfect weekend to come to the beach do some shopping and enjoy oysters! The process is simple. Purchase your pass, arrive at your start location and start time, enjoy oyster creations, and then meet back at the closing party to announce the winner.
13. The Heart Walk
When: Sunday, November 21 | 2 p.m.
Where: 1 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE
The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premiere event for raising funds to save lives from USA's #1 and #5 killers - heart disease and stroke. Register to participate this year, or just watch and cheer on the runners from the finish line!
14. Tree Lighting and Sing Along
When: Friday, November 26 | 6:30 p.m.
Where: Rehoboth Beach
See just how bright the local community shines when you get into the Christmas spirit this season down at the Eastern Shore. Kick off the holidays with the lighting of the big town tree and a little sing-along. Stay downtown after the event, to enjoy dinner and holiday shopping with family and friends.
15. 18th Sea Colony Turkey Trot 5k Run
When: Sunday, November 28 | 9 a.m.
Where: Bethany Beach | 38994 Westway Dr. Bethany Beach, DE US 19930
Join in on the 18th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk to benefit Special Olympics Delaware and their local athletes. On Sunday, November 28, walk and/or run through Sea Colony’s beautiful resort for a great cause. The race starts at 9 a.m. Net proceeds from this event helps the local athletes with training, uniforms and equipment.
