OUR MONTHLY GUIDE TO EVENTS IN AND AROUND DELAWARE'S BEACH TOWNS.  

As the weather begins to heat up, so does the schedule for the upcoming season! Get ready to spend the month of March exploring new adventures and activities that the whole family can enjoy. Check out the list below to see what’s in store. Spring into March with these 15 Events in the Rehoboth Beach area and surrounding towns. 

1. 302 Day (Official Celebration) 
When: Saturday, March 5 | 12 to 8 p.m.
Where: Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen | 6 Cannery Village Center, Milton, DE 19968
Dogfish Head is partnering with KAM Productions/302 Horseshoe Crab and hosting 302 Day at the Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen this year! An homage to the 302-area code of the slight but mighty state of Delaware, 302 Day is all about celebrating the goodness of the First State. Stop by on March 2nd and 5th to enjoy a slew of Delaware-centric eats, treats, and festivities. 

 

2. St. Patrick’s Day Parade Festivities @ Quayside
When: Sunday, March 6 | 12 to 5:30 p.m. 
Where: Milton Theater | 110 Union St Milton, DE 19968
Spend St. Patrick's Day with the Milton Theatre this year. Get ready for live music, parade viewing, and so much more! Make sure you bring your own chair for this full day of fun and entertainment. The Milton Theatre Quayside will feature a Beer Garden serving beer, wine, and slushie spiked drinks. Kids can enjoy the bouncy house and face painting. The Milton Theatre Food Stall will serve all-beef hot dogs, soft pretzels, popcorn, fresh baked cookies and brownies, soda, water, and other delicious snacks! 

 

3. Victor Victoria at Clear Space Theatre
When: March 11 to March 27
Where: Clear Space Theater | 20 Baltimore Ave Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
In jazz-age Paris, singer Victoria Grant struggles to make ends meet. With some help from her flamboyant friend Toddy, Victoria ultimately achieves stardom by masquerading as a man, "Count Victor Grazinski," who performs as a female impersonator. When macho businessman King Marchan develops feelings for "Victor" and Victoria reciprocates, comic hijinks ensue. See this story play out on stage when you buy a ticket for as low as $20. 

 

4. Young at Art
When: March 12 to March 27
Where: Rehoboth Art League | 12 Dodds Lane Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
The Young at Art exhibition is an annual favorite at the Rehoboth Art League. In collaboration with local public and private school teachers, the exhibition features a selection of wonderful artworks created by the youth in our local communities. This is often the first opportunity for these young artists to have their work displayed in a gallery space. Each year, the Rehoboth Art League awards a variety of cash and scholarship prizes to outstanding works. 

 

5. Delaware Resorts Health, Fitness & Leisure Expo
When: Saturday, March 12 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 13 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Lewes Chamber of Commerce | 120 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958
Have fun exploring over 60 of the top health, wellness, fitness, leisure, and home product and service companies in the local resort area at this expo! Everyone is welcome to stop in for free flu shots and health screenings. Try to win some of the cool gifts and prizes being offered at the expo. This event has free admission and parking. 

 

6. Sweet Leda at The Pond for St Paddy's
When: Saturday, March 12 | 9 to 12 p.m. 
Where: The Pond Rehoboth | 19266 Coastal Hwy, Shops at Sea Coast, Unit #1, Rehoboth, DE 19971
Join in on all the fun at the annual St Paddy's party at The Pond in Rehoboth! Rock out to live music with great food, great drinks, and even better company! Spend the night enchanted by the sound of Tristan Gilbert on drums. 

 

7. 14th Annual Milton St. Patrick's Day Parade
When: Sunday, March 13 | 2 p.m. 
Where: Historic downtown Milton, Delaware
This afternoon community event has been a tradition for 14 years, and is back in full swing this year! The event is presented by Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant and Dogfish Head. Start the day at 11 a.m. with the 9th Annual Lucky Leprechaun 5K, then grab a spot downtown to watch the parade at 2 p.m. The parade and 5K benefits The Milton Fire Department, The Milton Chamber of Commerce, and The Gladys Wilkins Seeding the Future Scholarship Fund.  

 

8. Conti Di San Bonifacio Wine Dinner at Sodel
When: Thursday, March 17 | 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
Where: Lupo Italian Kitchen | 247 Rehoboth Avenue Rehoboth Beach, DE, 19971
Join fellow foodies at Lupo Italian Kitchen for a LIVE in-house wine dinner featuring Count Manfredo! The Count has not been able to visit for over three years so it will be an evening of great food, delicious wines, and big fun! Chef Jeff has put together an awesome five-course menu to match these amazing Italian gems. Make your reservations now as this dinner will sell out. Tickets are $95. 

 

9. Starboard Opening Weekend
When: Thursday, March 17 | All Day
Where: The Starboard | 2009 Coastal Highway Dewey Beach, DE 19970
Celebrate the start of the season with a freshly made grapefruit crush at the Starboard! Grab your friends and settle down at a picnic table for the afternoon with a pitcher of locally crafted beer. Enjoy classic favorites from the menu like the Crabby Mary, made with crab, bacon, the Starboard’s signature bloody Mary mixture, and veggies, or the Bull Shark, made with champagne, red bull, and vodka!

 

10. Brian McKnight Live in Concert
When: Saturday, March 19 | 8 p.m.
Where: Harrington Raceway and Casino | 18500 S. DuPont Highway Harrington, DE 19952
With over 30 million albums sold worldwide, numerous chart-topping hits, and 16 GRAMMY nominations, Brian McKnight has earned himself a top spot in contemporary music. Don’t miss out on this incredible night of music and a chance to see this legendary performer up close and personal in the Exhibit Hall. This event is $75 and you must be over the age of 21 to attend. 

 

11. Top of the Pines Employee Drag Show
When: Friday, March 18 | 7 p.m.
Where: The Pines Rehoboth | 56 Baltimore Avenue 2nd floor Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
Come see all your favorite staff members strutting their stuff on stage for your entertainment in true Top of The Pines style. Prepare to laugh, cheer, and support these gentlemen as they become queens for a night! Let's see who will be the biggest DIVA! Limited seating is available and reservations are recommended.

 

12. Indoor Flea Market at Cape Henlopen State Park
When: Saturday, March 19 | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Where: Officer’s Club at Cape Henlopen State Park 
This annual fundraiser began in 2004 and features the sale of many diverse items, including children’s bikes donated to FOCHSP by generous members, businesses, and other members of the public. Everything will be available at knock-down prices! There is no entrance fee, but regular park entrance fees will be in effect. Friends Merchandise will be there too, including some bargain-priced clearance items. Credit and debit cards are accepted. 

 

13. Coastal Concerts Harlem String Quartet
When: Saturday, March 26 | 2 p.m. 
Where: Bethel United Methodist Church | 129 W 4th St, Lewes, DE 19958
If “variety is the very spice of life,” as the saying goes, then Coastal Concerts has a tangy feast planned for the 2021-22 season. There promises to be something for almost every musical taste at these lively events. This year, the Harlem String Quartet is prepared to display highlights from their upcoming season, which includes a wide range of artists and performances sure to delight patrons. It is encouraged that attendees purchase tickets in advance. 

 

14. Merchants Attic
When: Saturday, March 26 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Where: Cape Henlopen High School | 1250 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958
Grab your shopping bags and plan to shop at the State's Largest Indoor Garage Sale this spring! The Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold one Supersized Merchants' Attic where vendors will be selling excess business inventory, handmade items, antiques, collectibles, and second-hand household items. Stop in at any time to get your hands on some rare finds!

 

15. Milton Theatre Spokey Speaky tribute to Bob Marley
When: Thursday, March 31 | 8 p.m. 
Where: Milton Theater | 110 Union St, Milton, DE 19968
Spreading the positive vibes of reggae music through a soulful, high-energy live performance at the Milton Theatre! This Spring they will be bringing you the best music of Bob Marley! Come  join in on the fun, we’re jammin!
