The summer of 2021 is shaping up to be one of the most event-packed seasons in years, largely thanks to the many people itching to make up for lost time after over a year playing it safe. Across the entire Delaware coast, there are concerts, festivals, celebrations and special events all summer long. Visitors and locals, all the way from Lewes to Fenwick, can take in the joy and adventures planned to make this summer the best one yet.

June 2021 has TONS of events stacked up daily from themed throwback parties in Dewey Beach, to live shows in Selbyville. Take a look below at the list of some of the best events on the calendar for June. 

1.    What: Napa Comes To Delaware—Plumpjack Winery Wine Dinner
When: Friday, June 4 | 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Bluecoast Rehoboth | 30115 Veterans Way Rehoboth Beach, DE, 19971. 

Experience the authenticity of drinking Napa wine at Bluecoast in Rehoboth this summer. Your $205 ticket includes a five-course meal paired with true Napa wine. Enjoy a night under the stars featuring the famous Napa winery, Plumpjack, and learn more about the history and process of wine with East Coast Sales Manager Scot Gaffney.

2.    What: Mid Atlantic Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival
When: Saturday, June 5 to Sunday, June 6 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 110 Shipcarpenter Street, Lewes, DE 19958.

The Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass & Costal Arts Festival is hosted and organized by the Lewes Historical Society. It will feature over 50 sea glass and coastal artists and focus on the historic origins of sea glass. This is the 12th year of the festival with tickets priced at only $5. Kids can tag along for free and spend some time at the children’s corner set up at the festival.  

3.    What: Mike Hines & The Look 
When: Friday, June 11 | 8 to 9:15 p.m.
Where: Rehoboth Beach Bandstand | Downtown Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.

Mike Hines, also known as Mike Hines and The Look, is a very popular high energy dance band that plays r&b, hip hop, pop, old school funk; along with a small taste of motown and disco. They’re a 6 piece band that always gets the crowd involved and performs like there’s no tomorrow. They’re the ultimate party band and when they play, nobody sits down. All ages welcome, FREE.

4.    What: So Fetch -The BEST 2000s Tribute Band
When: Friday, June 11 | 8 to 10 p.m.
Where: Bottle and Cork | 1807 Highway One, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. 

Take a trip to Bottle and Cork at Dewey Beach and transport back in time to the 2000’s! Dress up like it’s the turn of the century and get ready to jam out. Enjoy live music and dancing with 2000’s music, clothes, and vibes. Tickets are not yet on sale, but will be available for purchase on the Bottle and Cork website prior to the event. 

5.    What: 80's Prom Dance Party with DJ Jamie Fox
When: Sunday, June 13 | 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: The Milton Theater | 110 Union St, Milton, DE 19968.

Visit the Milton Theater and join in on the 80’s Prom Dance Party with DJ Jamie Fox. The Milton Theatre Quayside features a Beer Garden serving beer, wine, and slushie spiked drinks. Glow and light-up party favors will be available for purchase and there will also be a food stall selling hot dogs, popcorn, cookies, and special Memorial Day themed drink and snack specials. Tickets range from $6 to $40. Don’t forget to bring a chair!

6.    What: Kashmir: The Live Led Zeppelin Show!
When: Thursday, June 17 | 7 to 11 p.m.
Where: Freeman Arts Pavilion | 31806 Lakeview Drive Selbyville, DE 19975.

Catch Kashmir at a full “Led” event in Selbyville. Jam out with fellow rockers at this concert for Led Zeppelin fans of all ages. This event will have pod seating, with tickets ranging from $80 to $100 for a four-seater or family pod.  

7.    What: Delaware Resorts 2021 Outdoor Expo & Craft Show
When: Saturday, June 19 to Sunday, June 20 | 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
Where: Hudson Fields | 29763 Eagle Crest Rd, Milton, DE 19968.

The 2021 Delaware Resorts 2021 Outdoor Expo & Craft Show is a great place to see the inner workings of local Delaware resorts. Win gifts and prices or bring the beach design back home with you! Patrons can browse different products for their home or rental property. This event is free and lasts all weekend. 


8.    What: COMEDY CLUB at The Starboard
When: Tuesday, June 22 | 9 to 11 p.m.
Where: Starboard Beach Bar | 2009 DE-1, Dewey Beach, DE 19971.

Laugh so hard it hurts at the Comedy Club in Dewey Beach. Listen along to funny stories and jokes from locals and vacationers at this stand-up show. Don’t be afraid to jump on stage and see if you can spread some cheer and laughter to the audience as well.  


9.    What: Rocking The Docks - Betty & The Bullet
When: Thursday, June 24 | 5 o 7 p.m. 
Where: Grain On The Rocks | 43 Cape Henlopen Drive Lewes, DE 19958.

Rock out on the dock with the band Betty & The Bullet! Purchase tickets online and you’ll get a 10 by 10 square to share with friends. Squares can sit up to four people with 6' between each group. All you need to bring with you is a chair, since food and drink will be delivered right to you! Tickets range from $40 to $50. One ticket is valid for four people!

10.    What: Bryan Clark at Irish Eyes
When: Friday, June 25 | 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Irish Eyes | 213 Anglers Rd, Lewes, DE 19958.

The Irish Eyes raves that, “With the delivery of those ‘simple’ words, singer Bryan Clark communicates to his audience something that is apparent from the moment he appears on stage: This is a rare and pure talent, reminiscent of the greatest live performers: Dynamic. Electrifying. Extraordinary. The songs caress the heart. The voice transcends and captivates. Versatility that simply astounds.” This event takes place during happy hour and does not require a ticket to attend.

11.    What: US Air Force Band Singing Sergeants
When: Friday, Jun 25 | 8 to 9:15 p.m.
Where: 1 Rehoboth Avenue Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.

The Singing Sergeants is the official chorus of the United States Air Force. Stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., the group is one of six musical ensembles that comprise The U.S. Air Force Band. Featuring 23 active-duty Airmen musicians, the Singing Sergeants are coming to share their talent with the people of Delaware! This event is free and does not require a ticket. 

12.    What: Saved by the 90’s
When: Friday, June 25 | 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Where: Bottle and Cork | 1807 Highway One, Dewey Beach, DE 19971. 

The 90’s is here to save you from the 21st century! Gather your friends for a totally radical time, with live music from 90’s cover bands at Bottle and Cork. For just $15, patrons can enjoy a wide variety of 90’s themed music and dance the night away! This event is only available for adults over the age of 21. 

13.    What: Jake Owen
When: Saturday, June 26 | 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Freeman Arts Pavilion | 31806 Lakeview Drive Selbyville, DE 19975.

Jake Owen is “Beachin” it in Delaware this summer and you do not want to miss out. Sing along to all his biggest hits with friends, family, beer, food, and good vibes at this once-in-a-lifetime concert. Tickets for “pods” range from $225 to $592, and this special event is more than worth the short drive to Selbyville.

14.    What: Movies on Dewey Beach
When: Monday, June 28 | 8 to 11 p.m. 
Where: Dagsworthy Street – Beachside.

Enjoy a relaxing movie on the beach with friends and family this summer when you check out Movies on Dewey Beach. Bring your own chairs and take in the beautiful beach while relishing in a fun adventure the whole family can enjoy. Glow necklaces will be available for a small $1 donation.

15.    What: Bonfires on Dewey Beach
When: Wednesday, June 30 | 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Dagsworthy Street - Beachside.

Want “S’MORE” fun down at Dewey Beach? Bring your family, a beach chair and some marshmallows to the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey for an old-fashioned bonfire on the beach! A $1 donation gets roasters a jumbo marshmallow and a stick, while supplies last
