The heat is on this summer at the Delaware Beaches! From live music and comedy shows, to craft fairs and kid shows, there is something fun for everyone to enjoy down while visiting the Eastern Shore. Check out the list below for a collection of events to keep you busy during the month of July at the Delaware Beaches.  

1. What: St. Peter's 55th Annual Art Show

When: Saturday, July 3 | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: St. Peters Episcopal Church | 211 Mulberry Street, Lewes, DE 19958

At the St. Peter’s 55th Annual Art Show, attendees can enjoy a wide variety of paintings, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, metal, and photography. This event offers free parking and is happening rain or shine! Since the 1980s, St. Peter’s has given the money raised from exhibitor fees, raffle and silent auction, and the luncheon to organizations that help people in need in the local area.


2. What: Rehoboth Beach Fireworks

When: Saturday, July 3 | 8 to 10 p.m.

Where: Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

Festivities for the annual Rehoboth Beach Fireworks show begin at 8 pm with a performance by Funsters at the Bandstand. Zambelli Fireworks has scheduled for their mind-blowing display to begin at 9:30 p.m. with an additional performance from the Funsters after the fireworks. Depending on weather conditions, fireworks could launch at any time after 8 pm. The fireworks are launched from south of Rehoboth Avenue and are visible up and down the beach and boardwalk.


3. What: Drag Brunch With Mona Lotts and Kristina Kelly

When: Sunday, July 4 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: The Pines| 56 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

This is not your average Drag Brunch! A morning filled with raunchy and entertaining dancing and singing can be a fantastic way to start the fourth of July! At this event, a la cart breakfast is included with a $15 ticket. There is very limited seating, so get your ticket now while you still can.


4. What: Bryen O’Boyle & Kristen & The Noise

When: Sunday, July 4 | 2:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Where: The Starboard | 2009 Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach, DE 19970

Rock out to live music for FREE at The Starboard with Bryen O’Boyle and Kristen & The Noise! Spend your day relaxing in the shade while drinking and orange crush, or go all out on the dancefloor and let loose to some tunes.


5. What: Independence Day Lewes Boat Parade & Fireworks at Dusk

When: Sunday, July 4 | 2 to 10 p.m.

Where: Lewes Beach, DE 19958

The parade will go the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal from the Roosevelt Inlet to Fisherman’s Wharf. The parade judges are members of City Council, Lightship Overfalls Foundation and the Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club. The much-anticipated and fully sanctioned fireworks display will be launched from a barge off Lewes Beach at dusk.


6. What: Locals Under the Lights

When: Wednesday, July 7 | 7 to 10 p.m.

Where: Freeman Arts Pavilion | 31806 Lakeview Drive, Selbyville, DE 19975

Locals Under the Lights returns to The Freeman Pavilion for the eighth season! Audience members can sit back, relax and enjoy local and up-and-coming artists perform on the same stage as national acts, such as Jake Owen, Fitz & The Tantrums and Earth, Wind & Fire! Tickets are free.


7. What: Peter Pan Jr. Kids Camp Show

When: Friday, July 9 | 2 to 4 p.m.

Where: The Milton Theatre | 110 Union St, Milton, DE 19968

This musical is free for children under the age of 12. Featuring the iconic songs, "I'm Flying," "I've Gotta Crow," "I Won't Grow Up" and "Never Never Land," and a rousing book full of magic, warmth and adventure, Peter Pan JR. is the perfect show a family to enjoy together.


8. What: Summer Craft Fair - Lewes Historical Society

When: Saturday, July 10 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: 110 Shipcarpenter Street, Lewes, DE 19958

July in Lewes means the Summer Craft Fair brought to you by The Lewes Historical Society. Admission will be $5.00 per person, children under 12 are free. Proceeds from this event will benefit educational and preservation programs at The Lewes Historical Society. This year, there will be over 60 talented artisans exhibiting a variety of media ranging from metalwork to woodworking. Indulge in delicious food and cool treats.


9. What: Jungle John Reptile Show

When: Saturday, July 10 | 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Freeman Arts Pavilion | 31806 Lakeview Drive, Selbyville, DE 19975

Guinness World Record Holder & Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! TV personality Jungle John, along with “Wally Gator” the American alligator, “Larry” the boa constrictor and his other “friends” have been delighting audiences ages 1-100 since 1988 with this entertaining and educational show! Jungle John presents an educational and fun show, including the animals mentioned above and about 10-12 others from the reptile and insect world (nothing dangerous or poisonous). This event is free to attend.


10. What: Justin Moore at the Bottle & Cork

When: Thursday, July 15 | 8 to 11:30 p.m.

Where: Bottle & Cork | 1807 DE-1, Dewey Beach, DE 19971

Listen to Justin Moore perform live this summer! Purchase tickets in advance for this quick-to-sell-out event at Bottle & Cork, a popular live music and dancing venue in the heart of Dewey. This event is for adults over the age of 21, and tickets are $62.


11. What: Mike Hines and The Look

When: Saturday, July 17 | 7:30 to 11 p.m.

Where: Paradise Grill | 27344 Bay Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966

Mike Hines, also known as Mike Hines and The Look, is a high energy, five-member dance band that can bring any party to life. They play r&b, hip hop, pop, old school funk, with a taste of Motown and disco and have been entertaining large crowds for 3 decades.


12. What: Jerrod Niemann

When: Wednesday, July 21 | 8 to 11:30 p.m.

Where: Bottle & Cork | 1807 DE-1, Dewey Beach, DE 19971

Get a taste of true country this summer when you buy tickets to Jerrod Niemann at Bottle & Cork. From Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and CMT Award nominations, to headlining and touring with some of Country’s hottest acts – Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban – Niemann continues to make his mark by creatively pushing boundaries while still offering a sincere nod to the legends before him.


13. What: Delaware State Fair

When: Thu, Jul 22 - Sat, Jul 31| All Day

Where: 18500 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE, United States, Delaware

Welcome to the Delaware State Fair "Your Passport to Summer Fun.” This summer there will be ten days to do, eat and see everything at the Delaware State Fair. From the entertainment to the food, to the games, rides, livestock shows, competitions and so much more, the staff and volunteers are hard at work planning for the 2021 Fair.


14. What: Frozen Jr. Kids Camp Show Kids

When: Friday, July 23| 2 to 4 p.m.

Where: The Milton Theatre | 110 Union St, Milton, DE 19968

The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. Tickets to this event are $10.


15. What: 70’s Flashback – The Soundtrack of a Generation

When: Saturday, July 24| 8 to 9:15 p.m.

Where: 1 Rehoboth Avenue Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

70’s Flashback invites their audiences to step back in time, as they bring to life on stage this incredible soundtrack of a generation. From Carole King & Three Dog Night, to The Doobie Brothers & Led Zeppelin, to Studio 54 & CBGB – 70’s Flashback’s stellar harmonies & note for note musical re-creations leave their fans with a deeper appreciation for the music of this historic decade!
