The LV 118, known as the Lightship Overfalls, is one of only 17 remaining lightships out of a total of 179 built from 1820 to 1952. In Winter 2008/2009, the ship underwent major repairs. In Spring 2009, construction on the Slip began. It is uncertain where the ship will be while the slip is under construction, which should be complete in late Summer 2009.
